Friendly reminder to please avoid using Town trails when they are wet or muddy. Many people ask WHY the Town does not want the public to use the Town’s trails when they are wet. The reason is that it causes damage, as you can see in this picture. Damage left by using trails when they are wet, stick around when the trails finally dry out. This can create tripping hazards for all trail users.
It takes a village to keep our trails in good shape. Please show that you care by waiting for the trails to dry out before you use them, then all of us can enjoy them. Just remember: “If you leave a track, please turn back!”
